Project Description
This is a three-story, moment-frame steel building with a glass curtain wall and a panelized masonry veneer. It also includes a three-story, post-tensioned, and structural concrete underground parking structure that serves the whole facility. The lobby and hallways feature stone and other high-end finishes with an architectural concrete courtyard. The facility provides office space, laboratory space, and a data center as well as a new vivarium for cancer research through gene alteration therapy. The building also incorporates vibration performance criteria for the floor framing system.
