Project Description
This project consisted of the renovation and upgrades for a 150,000sf commissary and exchange retail mall. The commissary includes sales and checkout areas, cold storage, meat and produce processing, bakery and deli, staging and receiving area, and a dry storage warehouse. A system that reclaims spillover cold air from refrigerated cases cools the building in the summer and reclaims the heat from product refrigeration to warm the building in the winter. Other features include a 10 degree freezer, 32 degree dairy and meat coolers, 45 degree meat preparation and packaging cooler, 34 degree produce storage, and a 65 degree produce processing cooler.
