Project Description
The new Yuma Regional Cancer Center is a world-class, full-service cancer treatment facility. The facility includes, but is not limited to: linear accelerator vaults, HDR vaults, imaging units, an infusion wing, a pharmacy, and a lab. This three-story, 38,000sf building was constructed on an accelerated schedule—10 months from ground breaking to completion. Okland self-performed the concrete, which included the lead, high-density concrete used in the radiation chambers. The YRCC was completed as a joint venture with local Yuma contractor, Merrill-Walker.
