Salt Lake Tribune Building Renovation and Seismic Upgrade - Neumont University
Salt Lake City, UT
Project Description
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this was one of only four high-rise buildings constructed in Salt Lake City between World War I and the Great Depression.
At the time renovations began, the building had been abandoned for almost ten years and was nearly unrecognizable in such an emaciated state. The front façade was demolished and recreated based on historical photos, while existing concrete columns were cleaned and remain exposed throughout the interior of this interactive higher learning institution. The renovated space includes an expansive commons area, 16 classrooms, labs, project rooms, administrative and professor offices, meeting and conference areas, and five floors of student housing. What Our Clients Are Saying
