LDS Albuquerque New Mexico Temple
Albuquerque, NM
Project Description
Overlooking the city from the northeast on an 8.5 acre site, the Albuquerque, New Mexico Temple is a 34,235sf, structural steel building that exhibits a classic modern, single spire design with the gold-leaf, Angel Moroni statue installed atop the temple. The structure’s exterior finish was designed to showcase the gentle colors of the Southwest with its desert rose pre-cast concrete panels trimmed with Texas pearl granite. The exterior and the surrounding landscaping is brightly, yet subtly, illuminated by a lighting system. The building, site, and parking areas are beautifully landscaped with native plants. The temple features a welcoming entrance, and the lobby contains similar interior highlights that are found throughout the temple: architectural woodwork, marble, stained glass windows, high-quality carpets and furniture, and works of art (statues and paintings). The building also features two ordinance rooms, three sealing rooms and an elegantly constructed “celestial room."What Our Clients Are Saying
