LDS Los Angeles California Temple Renovations and Seismic Retrofit
Los Angeles, CA
Project Description
The Los Angeles, California Temple is the 11th dedicated temple of the Church. Okland Construction performed a seismic retrofitting to the entire building to make it more earthquake-safe. During this process a crossbeam in the 115-foot (35-m) tower, bent by a 6.7-magnitude earthquake in 1994, was repaired. The facility was also refurnished with electrical and mechanical renovations.
