LDS Palmyra New York Temple
Palmyra, NY
Project Description
At the time, this temple was one of a new generation of smaller temples to be completed by the LDS Church. However, this particular location has religious and historic significance due to its proximity to sites where the LDS faith was first established and organized. The structure is clad in Bethel White granite from Vermont and surrounded with beautiful landscaping using native plants. One of the many unique features of this building is the 27 stained glass window systems on doors, skylights, interior panels, and exterior windows. Ultimately, there are more than 17,000 individual pieces of glass ranging in size from a foot down to almost ½ an inch. The building also features administrative offices, lobby/entry area, administrative offices, service areas, a baptistery, dressing rooms, and ceremony rooms. What Our Clients Are Saying
