Project Description

The Vivint Arena is the homecourt of the Utah Jazz and the premier sports and entertainment venue in the Intermountain West. The top-to-bottom-renovation of the Vivint Arena radically altered the look and feel of the venue. This included installing nearly 20,000 new fully upholstered, cushioned, plush back and contour foam seats throughout the building. Other enhancements include extending and rebuilding the entrances, building an overhang above the entrance and installing a large videoboard for outdoor watch parties. The renovation added new restaurants, rebuilt the suites, and completely renovated the home and visitor locker rooms. Although this amount of work would have normally taken between 18 to 24 months to complete, Okland finished it in under four months between basketball seasons.
