Recruitment Fraud Alert
Okland has been alerted of a phishing scam where individuals pretending to represent Okland are emailing employment offer letters and contracts to prospective job seekers.
Recruitment fraud is unfortunately a sophisticated and widespread scam intended to steal money or personal information. Okland will never ask potential candidates for sensitive financial information during the recruitment process, and open positions with Okland will be posted on our careers website. A job opening described in an email or website that does not also appear on our careers website is not likely legitimate.
Please be aware that Okland will also never ask prospective employees for direct payments for anything or extend any employment offers without prior interview. Candidates should not send money at any time to an Okland recruiter and should confirm all recruiter email addresses end in “@okland.com”.
If you have been contacted fraudulently or have sent money in relation to a scam Okland employment offer, please contact the FBI at https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx and follow instructions on how to report the incident.
